Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a highly competent IT Architect with over 8 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in the design and development of enterprise, web, and cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the architecture and development of scalable applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Architect microservices-based systems integrated via REST and Apache Kafka for robust event-driven communication.
• Manage and deliver content management solutions using Liferay Portal, IBM WebSphere Portal, and HCL Digital Experience (DX).
• Develop and maintain enterprise content solutions with IBM WCM and various Headless CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack web applications using JSP/JSF, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Implement and fine-tune enterprise search solutions with Elasticsearch for optimized data retrieval.
• Technical Skills:
Languages & Technologies – Java, J2ee, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API’s, Liferay Portal, IBM web content management system, and IBM Web Sphere Portal.
Database – MS-SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 and MongoDB,PL/SQL
Integrated IDE’s – Eclipse, IntelliJ, RAD and RSA
Build Tools – Maven,
Versioning Tools – GIT/GitHub
Operating Systems – MS-Windows family and RedHat Linux
Web Servers and App Servers – IBM WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat Application Server, IBM WebSphere Portal Server, and Liferay Portal Server.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Proven expertise in microservices architecture and integration strategies.
• Strong command over content management and digital experience platforms.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise-grade system architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
