Job description
Role Purpose
To support business growth of plastic products by assisting in customer acquisition, sales coordination, market development, and execution of day-to-day commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities
•Support sales of plastic products (recycled plastics, granules, flakes, compounds, etc.).
•Assist in identifying and onboarding new customers across packaging, FMCG, automotive, and industrial segments.
•Coordinate with customers on enquiries, quotations, sample approvals, and orders.
•Maintain sales pipeline, customer data, and MIS reports.
•Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements in the plastic products space.
•Coordinate with plant, quality, and logistics teams for timely dispatch and issue resolution.
•Support pricing discussions, negotiations, and basic commercial documentation.
•Follow up on payments, dispatch status, and customer feedback.
•Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical business practices.
Candidate Profile
Education
•Graduate in Engineering / Science (Plastics / Polymer background preferred) (MBA Preferred)
Experience
• 4+years of experience in plastic products / polymers / recycling / manufacturing sales
•Freshers with relevant internships or industry exposure may also be considered
Skills & Competencies
•Basic understanding of plastic materials and applications
•Good communication and coordination skills
•Willingness to learn pricing, sales, and commercial processes
•Comfortable with field coordination and plant interaction
•MS Excel and basic reporting skills
